Lastplak is a group of around nine painters with different backgrounds and diverse skills. Our goal is to paint, no matter what surface, size or location. Our work can be found all over the world, but our homebase is Rotterdam, so that's where most of our stuff can be seen. Ja toch!
Ces53, Ox-Alien, Sake, Pinwin, Oles, Mayb, Grrt & Cosh painted a new wall right in Rotterdam city centre. It's in front of the city hall on the Coolsingel and we gave it the name "Imperial Fairy-Tale", the wall we be there for a few months so go check it out if you are around. During the 3 days of the Young Dock festival in de Rotterdamse Schouwburg we painted a new mural with the theme 'movement' for Theatergroep Siberia. This wall we painted with Boortorrie, Oles, Pinwin, Ox-Alien, Ces53, Mayb, Sake and our two guests painters Cosh and Lizer (who did a three day intern ship with us). The wall can be seen till the end of june 2010, after that the whole theatre will be restyled. Here some pictures, enjoy!
