Lastplak is a group of around nine painters with different backgrounds and diverse skills. Our goal is to paint, no matter what surface, size or location. Our work can be found all over the world, but our homebase is Rotterdam, so that's where most of our stuff can be seen. Ja toch!
The sequal to the "Under Construction" expo at gallery MaMa, Rotterdam. This time a former supermarket in Vlaardingen ( now in use as artspace De Strip ) slowly transformed into a street art ghetto. Over a period of 3 months 50 artists dropped by to do their work. Offcourse the expo had a great opening and closing party !

The expo had sequal, taking place at De Strip in Vlaardingen, featuring about 50 artists.
While working on a closed window of a shop, the neighbour comes asking if we also can do the side of his wall. After making an appointment for Queensdaymorning, we sit down for a beer as a badly painted car with two lameheads drives by noticing our comment. 5 min. later they park the car around the corner and we repaint it. A week later, Queensday we paint the wall of the shop at Oude Binnenweg in neo folkloristic fashion.
